SharkNinja is known for its upright vacuum cleaners, but not as much for its cleaning robots. I led the work in partnership with the in-house team to develop the UI and UX for their latest robot, the ION. This demo elaborates on the map customization sequence, the most critical elements for engaging and retaining new robot owners.
We created a working prototype to fine-tune the intuitive nature of the controls. Here the user is initiating the process of creating a “no go” zone in the kitchen area.
